The history of \u017begluga \u015awinoujska officially begins on June 1, 1991 – after separating from \u017begluga Szczeci\u0144ska. However, the first documented information about the existence of a permanent ferry crossing at the mouth of the Swina – comes from 1230! The document mentions the name of the then carrier – Theodoric. The history of the ferry crossing, the names of carriers, names and types of ferries, stretched not only between the two banks of the \u015awina, but also between the turbulent history of these lands, is described in a very interesting way by doctor J\u00f3zef Pluci\u0144ski in his book “From the history of the \u015awinouj\u015bcie ferry crossing”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
