1988Repaired and refurbished at San Francisco after hitting sandbank in Amazon. New name Sitmar Fairwind.
1/9/1988Sitmar cruises sold to P&O Cruises.
8/9/1988Moved to Princess Cruisess fleet. New name Dawn Princess.
1993Sold to Happy Days Shipping, Nassau, Bahamas. (V-Ships , who was owner of Sitmar Cruise) . New name Albatros.
1993Five years charter to Phoenix Reisen.
18/8/1993First voyage from Germany to North Cape .
22/5/1995Suffered an engine room fire while on a cruise on the Red Sea.
30/6/1995First repaired in Livorno and continued at Lloyd Werft, Germany. 30th June back in service.
16/5/1997Hit a Bartholomew’s Ledge, St Mary’s Sound, Isles of Scilly. Have 61 m.. gash in the hull. Repaired A & P Shipyard, Southampton.
7/1997Back in service
11/2003Suffered severe machinery problems. Phoenix Reisen decided to terminate her charter contract.
12/2003Repairing price was too high so ship sold to scrap.
New name Genova. Towed to Alang, India.
1/1/2004Beached at Alang, India. Scrapped.
