1940Voyage from New York to Australia where she was converted into a troopship.
1940-45Used as troopship on World War 2.
9/46-7/47Refitted back for passenger service.
1947Company change name to Cunard Line
1947Southampton – Cherbourg – New York route.
1/1/1949Ran aground off Cherbourg.
1966Sold to City of Long Beach California.
27/9/1967She completed her 1,000th and last crossing of the
North Atlantic.
31/10/1967Last voyage from Southampton to Long Beach , California
9/12/1967Arrived to Long Beach, California
1968-1971Rebuild to hotel and museum ship.
8/5/1971Opened after rebuilding.
