and high seas. The ship is evacuated and can free itself
days later.

2-4/1983Modernized and upgraded by Mjellem & Karlsen in Bergen.
The engine is overhauled (exchange engine block) and the
cabins are equipped with showers and toilets.

8/1987VDS and ODS merged to form the OVDS and the ship was
given a new color scheme for the Funnel.

20/12/1933She was replaced by the M / S Richard With. The exchange
takes place in Harstad. Will be decommissioned in Narvik.
8/1994the ship was given to the Hurtigruten Museum in Stokmarknes.
It should become part of the museum.
1999She was pulled ashore and put on the dock and connected
to the museum by an overpass. The chimney gets the old color
scheme of the VDS. The new museum opens in the first week of
1999. The transition to the ship did not exist at the time
Winter 2005/06The ship will be extensively serviced and roofed. Certainly
not a permanent solution, but definitely useful as protection
against the weather.
2018-2020Build a Museum around the ship.
