 Thomson Holidays is a UK based travel operator and part of TUI Travel PLC. Thomson Cruises had initially entered the cruise market in 1973. Due to rising fuel costs  the service was terminated in 1976. Thomson Cruises restart cruise business 1995. Rebranded to Marella Cruises 9th October 2017.
